Annie & Gus

DURHAM, NC | THE COTTON ROOM
PHOTOGRAPHY: BRETT & JESSICA

I suppose you could say that my husband Gus and I had the first "Greatest Story Wedding."

Our wedding had no "theme" other than our story... so far. To us, our wedding was was about having all the people we love in one room together - making them feel loved and appreciated - and being intentional about how we were beginning to write a brand new chapter in our lives by starting our marriage.

Gus and I met in the summer of 2006 while on a summer internship program in London, England. We were both on a path to work in the film industry, and though we came from totally different places (Colorado and NC) and totally different families (Catholic, one of seven kids, and Jewish, only child), we fell madly in love. As you may see below, though we are different, we share many interests and loves - everything from movies, to Disney, to Batman, and other silliness. Every element of our wedding was designed to have meaning and significance to our relationship and the love we share, not just with one another, but also with our family and friends.
