Our 2014 Holiday Cards & Exciting News!
Today, I'm especially excited to share our 2014 Holiday Cards with you. This is because it means I get to share this awesome news: we bought a house!
My husband Gus and I are officially first-time homeowners! And as if that weren't enough to celebrate, this new home means that Greatest Story will have its first 100% dedicated office.
I can't wait to create in a space that will be completely dedicated to my mission of helping people fully celebrate all the greatness of their lives. It's going to be amazing and you better believe there'll be lots of DIY and decorating in the future to really make that happen.
If you want to stay posted on the DIY of it all and see the whole house come to life, follow along on my personal blog anniemade. House posts should start happening in early 2015, though you may spot an occasional office update here on Greatest Story.
So, without further ado:
OUR 2014 FAMILY HOLIDAY CARD
Since we're in the midst of transition, we opted for a hand-lettered digital ecard, emailed to close friends and family with our new address attached. We loved our first two years of printed cards (Year 1: Vellum Envelopes containing wedding pictures of friends & family) and here's last year's (click the image for the full story on them):
And in case you're wondering, we didn't subject our realtor to doing a photo shoot outside our house for our ecards. Instead, we set up a tripod and a timer outside our new place just a half an hour after our closing last week!
I'll be back later this month with a look at Greatest Story's official (and printed!) Holiday Cards. For now, I hope everyone's enjoying a holiday season full of snail mail, happy emails, and lots of cookies and/or cookie dough. Ours is, plus a lot of trips to Lowe's.
